AI Writing Partner Characters

Each card here is a working partner for a writing task. You bring a rough idea; the card returns structure, options or a finished draft you can edit.

Every card below is part of a reviewed SFW launch snapshot.

Ways in

Find a useful direction

Character and card builders

Turn one line about a person into a card you could publish, or generate supporting cast for a campaign.

Plot and dialogue partners

Use these when a scene has stalled. They propose the next beat and let you reject it.

Generators

A card that invents a game, a world or a prompt on demand. Good for breaking a blank page.

A practical selection process

Choose before you open

  1. Name the output you want

A card that writes prose and a card that writes structured fields are different tools. Read the opening to see which one this is.

  2. Bring a constraint

Writing partners work better with a genre, a length or a rule than with "surprise me".

  3. Keep your own draft in the loop

Paste what you have. The card should edit toward your voice, not replace it.

Frequently asked questions

A clear starting point

Are these the same as a general chatbot?

No. Each card is a persona with a fixed job and a defined output shape. That constraint is the point.

Can I use a writing partner to build a character for Charmi?

Yes. Several cards here produce a character definition you can copy into the Charmi creator.

Do writing partners remember my project?

Per-character memory applies here too: accepted facts about your project persist for that card.
